Those things come to mind whenever I see a wisteria flowering! Right now, the wisteria in my garden is in full bloom and abuzz with a variety of bees, and the scent is delightful! There’s still a lot of work to be done in my garden – this year I’m very much behind with preparing and planting, but there’s always time for a cup of tea whilst sitting under the wisteria and watching the bees going about their business!

Lovely photos. We donβt have a wisteria. Every year I say I will plant one, but I never get around to it!

I’m not sure if you aren’t lucky in not having planted a wisteria in your garden!? The one I have is such a thug and needs pruning several times a year. Sometimes, when I think that it only flowers once in the spring for a fairly brief period, I’m wondering whether to dig it up… π

I can see they might take over. Itβs a pity they only flower briefly. I will take your advice!

What city do I fly into/out of when I come to your bookings?

Hi Bonnie,
The closest airport is in Montpellier (about 1 hour by car from Saint-Chinian), but you could also consider Toulouse (2 hours) or Marseille (2.5 hours).
